Privacy policy
Last updated 13 October 2026
This policy explains what information Score Sheets (scoresheets.melesatlabs.com), run by Melesat Labs, collects and how it is used. Questions go to hello@melesatlabs.com.
Games kept on your device
When you keep score, the player names and scores are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device, so a refresh or a locked phone doesn't lose the game. We can't see this data. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Games you choose to share
If you press Share game, the game (player names as you typed them, the scores, the domino set and the double-blank setting) is sent to our server so other phones can follow it. It is stored with Cloudflare, our hosting provider, under a random game code. Anyone with the code or link can view the game, so don't use full names if you'd rather not. A shared game is deleted automatically about 120 days after it was last updated. Press Stop sharing to stop sending updates; to have a shared game deleted sooner, email us the game code.
Usage counts
We count a few actions per day, such as "a game was started" or "a sheet was printed", to learn which features are used. These counts contain no names, scores, device identifiers or IP addresses. We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
Advertising and cookies
Some pages show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
- Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used, through a Google-certified consent message. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link it shows.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We don't use this to identify you.
Children
The site is meant for families, but it isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices and rights
You can use every score sheet without sharing a game, and you can clear what's stored on your device at any time. You can ask us what we hold about a shared game, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
